INFORMATION WE COLLECT
To ensure our research reflects our community, we collect:
- Registration Data: Name, email address, and zip code.
- Demographic Data: Age, occupation, and household details.
- Sensitive Categories: Some surveys may include questions regarding health, ethnicity, political opinions, or other sensitive categories. Providing this is strictly voluntary and based on your explicit consent.
- Research Responses: Feedback and opinions provided during surveys, interviews, or focus groups.
- Digital Data: We collect IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and use cookies to verify survey integrity, prevent fraud, and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Minors: Our panel is intended for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover a minor's data has been inadvertently collected, it will be deleted immediately.
HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
Our legal basis for processing your data includes consent (for participation), contractual necessity (to deliver rewards), and legitimate interest (to ensure data quality).
- Survey Relevancy & Profiling: We use your profile data to target surveys relevant to your community. This "profiling" is used solely to ensure you receive invitations for studies you are eligible for.
- Trend Analysis: We combine responses to create anonymous, high-level reports.
- Communications: Your email is used for survey invitations and reminders. You may opt-out at any time using the "unsubscribe" link in any email.
- Incentive Distribution: Processing your rewards and gift cards.
- Panel Security: Protecting against bots and duplicate accounts.
DATA SHARING AND ANONYMITY
We do not sell your personally identifiable information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Anonymized Reporting: Clients see statistical trends, not your individual name.
- Service Providers: We share data with essential providers, including survey platforms, cloud hosting (e.g., AWS/Azure), payment processors, and data analytics providers.
- Legal Disclosure: We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental request.
YOUR RIGHTS
You remain in control of your data:
- Access & Portability: You have the right to update your info or receive a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdrawal & Deletion: You may opt out of any study or request that we permanently delete your data.
- Non-discrimination: Exercising these rights will not result in any discriminatory treatment or loss of earned rewards.
- Verification: To prevent unauthorized access, we will verify your identity via your registered email before fulfilling data requests. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

SECURITY & RETENTION
We take data protection seriously:
- Encryption: Data is encrypted both at rest and in transit.
- Access Control: Systems are protected by authenticated, role-based access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Defenses: We employ firewalls, intrusion detection, and email filtering.
- Training & Response: Staff undergo regular security training, and we maintain a formal Incident Response Plan for breach notifications.
- Retention: We retain panel data only as long as you are an active member. If an account is inactive for two years, or upon your request, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
