The Communicator Awards are sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, a 600-plus-member organization of leading professionals from multiple disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to encouraging the progress and evolution of traditional and interactive media. The Gold Award of Excellence recognizes entries showcasing “best-in-the-field”-level communication abilities, while the Silver Award of Excellence honors projects exceeding industry standards in quality and achievement.

More than 6,000 entries are received annually for the competition from agencies and companies, both large and small, worldwide.

“We are both excited and amazed by the quality of work received for the 23rd Annual Communicator Awards. This year’s class of entries is a true reflection of the progressive and innovative nature of marketing and communications,” said Linda Day, executive director of the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts in a congratulatory statement. “On behalf of the entire Academy I want to applaud this year’s Communicator Awards entrants and winners for their dedication to perfecting their craft as they continue to push the envelope of creativity.”

“We are honored to be recognized nationally for the work we are privileged to do for our clients. The teamwork between Anthology and our amazing clients allows us to create websites and digital marketing that helps businesses grow. The awards are just icing on the cake,” said Mary Fastenau, president of Anthology Digital.
