As the leader of Hawaii’s most experienced public relations practice, Nathan is immersed in all aspects of the state’s business community. He draws upon his media insights, marketplace knowledge and industry connections to counsel clients in various sectors to help achieve their business objectives. Nathan also has a strong background in strategic planning, media relations and social media, as well as experience in all aspects of public relations – including tourism, corporate and public affairs, issues management, crisis communications, government and community relations. 

A company veteran, Nathan represents Anthology’s next generation of leadership. He brings a fresh perspective to the ever-changing landscape of integrated communications and how these methods of outreach can be used most effectively to advance the strategic direction and success of Anthology’s clients.

Nathan serves on the board of directors for the Honolulu Festival Foundation, JTB Goodwill Foundation, Junior Achievement of Hawaii and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Travel and Tourism Section.

He also volunteers his time as a mentor in the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii's Young Professionals program and chairs The Pacific Club's NextGen Committee.

In 2018, Nathan was named the Gregg W. Perry Public Relations Professional of the Year by the Hawaii Chapter of PRSA. He was named to Pacific Business News' annual list of Forty Under 40 honorees in 2014. And in 2013, PRSA Hawaii honored Nathan with its President’s Leadership Award in recognition of his contributions to the success of the profession. He is also a past president of PRSA Hawaii.

Raised on the island of Hawaii, Nathan is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. He is also a graduate of Konawaena High School where he lettered in baseball.
