Social Media Marketing Coordinator
HONOLULU
The Social Media Marketing Coordinator will create and maintain a strong online presence for Anthology’s clients. The coordinator will implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifies target users who may be interested in a product or service and detail plans and strategies for
- Generates, edits, publishes and shares daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that build meaningful connections and encourages community members to act.
- Facilitate online conversations for clients and responds to inquiries on behalf of clients, as requested.
- Creates content calendars for each client.
- Defines key performance indicators and implements enterprise level measurements, analytics and reporting methods to gauge success.
- Continuously improves by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices.
- Stays up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
- Works with all Anthology departments to explore and identify ways to integrate social media into business starts and marketing campaigns for all clients.
- Oversees social media accounts’ layout.
- Suggests new ways to attract more users to the client’s social media accounts.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge and understanding of the role of communication in marketing and public relations.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Knowledge of the impact and uses of social media.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to respond well under pressure.
- Strong ability to focus on accuracy, attention-to-detail, and timeliness.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment under supervision and on own
- Ability to keep supervisor properly informed.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.
Job Requirements:
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Journalism or Communications.
- Two (2) years’ experience in marketing or comparable industry experience.
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
- Experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms including but not limited to Omniture, Facebook insights, YouTube Insights, Google Analytics, HootSuite, and Sprout.
- Experience with creating and identifying quality social media content.
