Curtis brings to Anthology the highest commitment to financial stewardship, accountability and transparency gleaned from a career in finance and accounting spanning almost two decades. Having worked with a diverse array of companies and industries throughout the United States, his experience and perspective are uniquely geared toward helping Anthology navigate its dynamic future in marketing communications.

Prior to joining Anthology, Curtis held management positions at Amazon.com, KPMG LLP, McKesson Corporation and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Master of Science degree in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.   Curtis is also non-practicing certified public accountant licensed in the states of California and Hawaii.

Managing Research Director – Anthology Group Guam office

Bonnie is responsible for overseeing all aspects of research development, execution and process in Anthology’s Guam offices in Tamuning. Her work includes developing new business opportunities, sales and client servicing, and developing qualitative and quantitative research programs supporting marketing objectives for multiple industry clients in Guam and the Western Pacific.

A Guam native, Bonnie joined Anthology’s Research Group in 2002. She is a graduate of Hawaii Pacific University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management and marketing.

Bonnie is an active member of the Rotary Club of Tumon Bay and a member of the University of Guam School of Business and Public Administration’s Advisory Council. She also holds memberships in the Guam Visitors Bureau, Guam Chamber of Commerce and Guam Women’s Chamber of Commerce.

Broadcast Production Manager – Anthology Advertising

Mark has worn several career hats in his more than three decades of experience in television and video production in Hawaii. Though much of his work has been as an editor, his career has included stints as a broadcast graphic designer, writer and commercial producer. Mark was a familiar face in Anthology’s offices prior to joining its Advertising Group as broadcast production manager, a newly created position at the time of his hiring. He had previously worked on freelance projects for several Anthology clients, as well as multiple political campaigns. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois, Mark’s expertise includes strong video and storytelling skills ranging from graphic animation to long-form documentary-style editing.

With more than a decade of experience in marketing, communications and advertising, Michelle has accrued valuable time in both agency and nonprofit work over her career, supporting a broad range of brands in tourism, finance, health care and other industries. Motivated by curiosity and a dedication to innovative, results-driven work, Michelle supervises integrated marketing programs involving public relations, social media, strategic brand development, digital communications, traditional advertising and events. Prior to moving to Hawaii in 2009, Michelle worked in account management at advertising agencies in Portland, Oregon, and Irvine, California.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from California State University Long Beach, with a major in marketing and a minor in psychology. She is a past president of Ad 2 Honolulu and member of the Rotary Club of Downtown Honolulu.

Chuck is a recognized media expert and outside-the-box thinker who collaborates with media outlets and cooperative partners to create innovative advertising opportunities that achieve higher visibility and memorability for his clients. His advertising career includes two decades of experience in New York City’s agency scene working with some of the world’s most recognizable brands. Since moving to Hawaii in 1991, he has created strategic media plans for multiple local-based brands.

Chuck is a Vietnam combat veteran and a supporter of the Wounded Warriors Project. He volunteers with Shriners Hospitals for Children Honolulu and has donated more than 130 pints of blood (and counting) to the Blood Bank of Hawaii

Vicki brings to Anthology combined expertise in human resources management, recruiting, employee relations, training, and benefits design and implementation. Her career experience includes management of human resources for companies throughout the Pacific Rim with employees based in Alaska, Chile, Guam, Saipan, Wake Island, Midway Island and Kwajalein Atoll.

Vicki holds a Master of Business Administration degree in human resources management from National University in San Diego, California, and a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. She holds a Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR) and is a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Keith brings to Anthology more than two decades of experience in public relations and communications in the corporate, government, nonprofit and information technology industries. His career includes service with the office of the Governor of the State of Hawaii where he managed and collaborated with public information officers across 18 departments. Prior to joining Anthology, Keith served in the State of Hawaii Office of Enterprise Technology Services reporting directly to its chief information officer on the development and execution of communications and legislative coordination.

Keith is a volunteer board member of the Public Relations Society of America Hawaii Chapter and the Honolulu Zoological Society.

He possesses a strong background in strategic planning and corporate communications, has led numerous public information programs, is an exceptional writer, and has cultivated solid, invaluable working relationships with members of Hawaii’s news media.

Patrick is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in communication. He has contributed pro bono public relations support throughout his career to worthy causes, including his current service as a volunteer board member of Duke’s OceanFest.

Lei brings career experience accumulated over nearly a decade in the hospitality industry to Anthology’s Public Relations Group where she works with clients across multiple industries, including travel and tourism, and private educational institutions. Prior to joining Anthology, she managed public relations and social media efforts for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts properties in Boston, Massachusetts, and on the island of Lanai, successfully elevating each hotel’s social presence.

Lei is a graduate of Iolani School in Honolulu and Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with a minor in business institutions. Her volunteer work includes membership on the development committee for Easterseals Hawaii.

Lei has danced hula with Halau Kaulakahi for more than two decades. Her lifelong dream is being invited with her halau to compete in the annual Merrie Monarch Festival in Hilo.

Page brings more than three decades of marketing, media buying and planning experience in Hawaii to Anthology’s Advertising Group where she is responsible for its media department and maintaining agency relations with all print, broadcast and digital media. She has worked with companies and businesses spanning almost every industry in the local advertising market and has expertise with both statewide and national media. Page is passionate about research and the challenge of staying up to speed with changes in the modern media landscape.

Her career experience includes service as director of advertising and promotion at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Hawaii, and media director of Laird Christianson Advertising – one of Anthology’s founding companies. She is a graduate of Chaminade University of Honolulu, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing sciences.

Page is a two-term former president of the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) Hawaii Chapter and is active in its annual participation in AAF’s National Student Advertising Competition. AAF’s Hawaii Chapter honored Page as its Advertising Woman of the Year in 2008. She is also a regular guest lecturer at Hawaii Pacific University.

Wenona leads Anthology Digital Group’s project management team, ensuring every project it undertakes is realistically and properly scoped, budgeted and staffed prior to development to effectively meet client needs. Her extensive and diverse career experience, as well as deep understanding of the web development process – she has served as a programmer, quality assurance specialist and client contact person – has made Wenona an excellent team coach and discerning judge of everything required to successfully bring a project to completion.

Wenona is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her community volunteer work includes board memberships in Read to Me International, Project D.A.T.E. and Living the Word Ministries, and service with RAW International.

Jantzen brings nearly two decades of career experience in digital project work to the Anthology Digital Group team and its clients. Prior to joining Anthology, he served as project manager and product manager for the American Cancer Society’s main website, Cancer.org, and was based in the organization’s national headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. As part of his work for the national nonprofit, Jantzen also managed a series of online wellness programs implemented by the American Cancer Society in workplaces throughout the United States. His career resume also includes service as a web project manager for Atlanta-based The Home Depot where his responsibilities included special projects and section redesigns of the company’s national website, HomeDepot.com.

John brings more than three decades of experience in market research in Hawaii to his work in Anthology’s Research Group. He directs all field operations for the research team involving the collection of quantitative and qualitative data via telephone surveys based in Anthology’s call center. John also directs the group’s mail, online and intercept surveys. In addition, he ensures quality control as the lead of sampling for telephone and online surveys, and oversees research gathered from focus groups.

John is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management.

With more than two decades of career experience in business-to-consumer marketing, public relations, social media and advertising, Jackie brings to Anthology’s Public Relations Group exceptional knowledge in providing strategic counsel to clients in a diversity of industries, including telecommunications, health care, travel, retail, hospitality and food service. She directs marketing programs for multiple Anthology clients, utilizing a combination of print, broadcast, online, and public and community relations in their community outreach, as well as event marketing.

Prior to joining Anthology, Jackie operated her own marketing consultancy for seven years. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology.

Craig is Anthology Research Group’s expert in the study of research data, employing detailed statistical formulas and his career experience in research services to assess findings, trends and analyses. Craig is also responsible for report preparation and analysis, and manages the research team’s utilization of statistics, graphics and data processing functions.

Erin specializes primarily in travel and tourism public relations for Anthology’s Public Relations Group, managing client relationships and internal teams for multiple hospitality accounts. Born and raised on the island of Hawaii, she is a graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, where she earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in mass communication and journalism with an emphasis in public relations.  

Erin is a board member and serves as communications vice president for the Hawaii Society of Business Professionals. She has also served as wish granter for Make-A-Wish Hawaii.

Johanna brings more than two decades of career experience in industries ranging from television and radio to experiential events and the web to Anthology’s Digital Group and its clients.

Prior to joining Anthology, she led entertainment-based consumer engagement and loyalty-marketing programs at San Francisco-based radio station KMEL-FM and Sony Computer Entertainment’s PlayStation gaming division. At Sony, Johanna’s work travel took her to an array of prestigious events, including the Olympic Games, X Games, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, and work with DJ/music producer Tiesto, hip-hop musician Mos Def, and Olympic snowboard gold medalist Shaun White.

Her resume in digital marketing includes service as a marketing manager at California State University East Bay, as well as the operation of her own independent integrated marketing business, where she worked on campaigns for a client list that included Mazda, HBO, and musicians Carlos Santana and Stevie Wonder.

Johanna is a graduate of San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcasting.

Erica brings a technology- and people-focused work ethic to Anthology’s Digital Group where she works with some of the team’s largest clients seeking ways to manage technology and strategy. She manages the day-to-day tasks of multiple projects, including website redesigns, mobile app launches and custom interactive projects, always making sure clients are satisfied throughout the process. Prior to joining Anthology, Erica managed marketing strategies for both small and large businesses, including confectioner Hawaiian Host.

Erica is a graduate of Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management and a Master of Business Administration degree.

Derek conceptualizes, develops, edits and composes editorial content on various subjects over multiple media platforms and across Anthology’s disciplines. The company created the director of editorial services position to utilize his skills as an award winning Hawaii-based writer and editor.

Prior to joining Anthology, Derek served for five years as editor-in-chief of Hawaii magazine, an Oahu-based, nationally distributed bimonthly magazine aimed at frequent- and first-time travelers to the Hawaiian Islands. His career experience includes seven years as an arts and entertainment writer for The Honolulu Advertiser daily newspaper where he wrote lifestyle features on music, film, TV, nightlife, art, fashion and culture. At The Honolulu Advertiser, Derek also fulfilled a longtime dream of combining his lifelong loves of music and writing into a career interviewing dozens of musicians, including Prince, B.B. King, Eddie Vedder, Elvis Costello, Bonnie Raitt, David Byrne, Kanye West, Roger Daltrey, Rihanna and Pink.

Born and raised on the island of Hawaii, Derek is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. His journalism awards include multiple honors from the Society of Professional Journalists Hawaii Chapter, and three first-place Pai Awards for Visitor Publication Excellence from the Hawaii Publishers Association as editor-in-chief of Hawaii magazine.

Derek volunteers time annually as a judge for The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation’s Inspired in Hawaii essay contest for kindergarten through 12th grade students.

Reaghan ensures that all Anthology broadcast-related projects are finished on time and within budget. She enjoys the fast-paced environment of production work and thrives on the energy of her team in the broadcast division of Anthology’s Advertising Group, whether assisting with the finer points of a shooting schedule or rushing momentarily from the site of a production to keep the assembled talent, quite literally, cool.

Her nearly two decades of career experience includes post-production work in New York City, running a post-production studio in Boston, and, prior to her current title, serving as a project manager in Anthology’s broadcast division.

A Massachusetts native, Reaghan is a graduate of Boston University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising.

Captivated by his first behind-the-scenes peek at a young age into the world of advertising, when a family friend cast him as an extra in a local television spot, Robert’s fascination with the industry grew as he entered college and began his agency career. His career experience includes work with a diversity of Hawaii and national brands spanning the food, beverage and insurance industries.

Robert is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications.

April has won numerous local and national awards for her work. She is a former president and board member of the American Advertising Federation’s Hawaii Chapter, which honored her as its Advertising Woman of the Year in 1998. April’s volunteer community work includes the creation of campaigns and collateral materials for the Hawaiian Humane Society, Honolulu International Film Festival and Cat Friends Hawaii.

An avid traveler, Kris has visited nearly 100 countries. He draws inspiration and energy for his life and work from his two adopted daughters.

Kris regularly volunteers his time with the American Red Cross, March of Dimes, Pacific Survivor Center and Advocates for Africa’s Children.

Prior to joining Anthology, Laurie served as a spokesperson for the Virginia Department of Transportation working to advance community outreach initiatives for large-scale transportation projects. Her career experience includes work as an investigative reporter for regional television stations in Virginia, Florida and Georgia focusing on military and transportation issues.

Susan’s career experience includes agency and media industry work in Washington, D.C., and London, England, and extensive work with travel clients. Prior to joining Anthology, she served as operations manager for Honolulu-based Harris Agency.

Samantha is a graduate of Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she earned a Master of Science degree in communications management. She is a former president of the American Marketing Association’s Hawaii Chapter and has held board positions with the Public Relations Society of America’s Hawaii Chapter. Her volunteer work includes service as communications chair on the steering committee of Ad Up Hawaii.

She has played a pivotal role in the creation of award-winning branding and communications programs at Anthology for organizations spanning a range of industries, including public service, state and city government, entertainment, retail, and travel and tourism.

Her volunteer work includes memberships on multiple charitable and nonprofit boards, including Malama Hawaii, Bishop Museum Advisory Council, Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii and Kumu Kahua Theatre.

John brings more than a quarter century of communications experience to assisting his clients as head of the public affairs division of Anthology’s Public Relations Group.
